Falalala lalala

I love this time of year! Always so much going on:)
I made this a few weeks back for my sis Melis for her birthday. I don't know if it was a gift for her or her little one, but I hope they both love it. I put stickers in each pocket for Colin and a snowman that moves from day to day. I will make L one for next year:)
I have been wanting to make a Christmas quilt for over a year now. This year I am very busy with a lot of projects but I snuck this one in. It only took me 3 days and I really wanted it to take holiday photo's with Lainey. I love how it turned out, it is my first patchwork quilt and I think I will be making many more like this, it is fast, fun and looks great!
The backing is the skating print, I love it. Lainey loves looking at all the colors.
She totally know what a camera is for now. lol. Love her smile, even her eyes smile!
lol this one makes me laugh!
You know she has out grown something when....
But she still loves being in there when I am cooking. Dad don't worry she is strapped in and I NEVER leave her side.
These ones make me giggle too:)

I just can not get enough of her expressions.

I can't believe I got Trevor to do this. We went to Stanley park Bright Lights. It is a little Christmas village with tons of stuff for the little ones to look at.
 Lainey as a fire woman!
Lainey and Trev doing Ballet! lol

And Lainey as a princes??? I don't really know but she is starting to think this is pretty fun!

Gotta love The Grinch!
First Train ride. She really enjoyed it. It was probably 20 minutes and she feel asleep on me during the ride.

And we got our christmas tree up. I can't believe we fit this in our tiny apartment, but we did and it smells great.
Lainey has started really liking to eat her solids. She has tried cereal, rice and oatmeal. Avocado (her fav.), sweet potatoes, carrots, banana's and today apples. She really liked the apples:) She is 6 1/2 months already and she brings so many smiles to our face everyday, such an amazing little person:)
I hope this week to get lots of sewing done, there are some last minute must do's........Julie's present. lol Sorry it will be late Jules but I'll make it extra special!
