For those cold days!

Lainey loves her jumperoo she has started really bouncing in it, so much fun!
We are headed to Toronto on saturday to visit with grandma and grandpa!!! So excited, I hope Lainey feel's better by then. She once again has a cold:( Anyways I thought I should make an ergo cover to keep her warm when we go out. I made it with an Amy Butler print from her Love collection. It is insulated with batting and has a soft minky on the interior. I also put a hand cozy for myself and a little pocket that I can but my phone, money or keys in. I am happy with how it turned out. I did it saturday night when Lainey was sleeping so I only had a pillow for reference. There are a few minor changes I would make next time.

Here are some pictures of Lainey in it. We went up to Grouse for brunch and a sleigh ride and she was nice and cozy.
Lainey and Trevor having a stare down. lol New fav picture of mine.
And behold a quilters dream, fabric in the mail. A late christmas present from my sis:) I just love these prints from Anna Marie Horton's collection Folksy Flannel.
Another view! I already know what I am going to do with this, now I just have to find the time.
I have been really busy quilting 2 quilts. They are presents so I can not show any pictures until the 2 special people receive them. I will post pictures in the next couple of weeks.

  3. what do you mean by stretchy. There is an adjustable buckle and an elastic band in the bottom. The material itself is 100% cotton so no stretch there. But over all it is very adjustable so anyone can wear it and it will fit different size babies.
