One Month!

Melissa left and we miss her so much. She is an amazing person and if you get to spend only 5 minutes with her in a day you are incredibly lucky because she makes each day that much better. We all love you and can not wait to see her again soon. Thank you for all your help!

Also you can see some more pictures of Lainey at Cindy's blog . She is an amazing photographer that Melissa and Jason hired to take photo's of Lainey. She did a great job, better then we could have imagined and she has posted a sneak peak.

Here are a lot of photo's, we have gone flicker crazy over here.
Melissa I miss you! This picture was taken when Melissa was visiting, we went out for breakfast, first time Lainey was in a restaurant!

Trevor has mastered swaddling! Way to go Trevor!
We got to visit Lainey's Great Grandma Ive. She was so happy to see her newest grandchild.
Aunt Melissa showing Lainey a picture of her cousin Colin.

In the picture below I love how she folds her arms under her head when she is sleeping, this is our position 95% of the time.

Aunt Melissa and Lainey snuggling on the couch.
Check out the cool new shoes Nicole made for Lainey, thank you Nicole.

Trevor's first time wearing the wrap, at first he was not sure but after a few minutes he walked around like a proud dad.
Most adorable picture of Trevor, I still can not believe what an amazing father/man her is, Lainey is a lucky little girl.
Her new sun hat!
Lainey laughing, alright its gas.

Happy one month Lainey.......we love you to the moon and back:)
.

A few projects finally done.

I was also able to finish up a couple projects while having a little help at home. It is so great to have family helping out. Lainey just loves snuggling with aunt Melissa and Grandma, and I love it because I can get some stuff done around the house or some quilting, plus great company:)

Above is Melissa and Jason's quilt.
I helped Melissa make this Thomas the Train blanket for Colin. If you ask Colin what Thomas the Train say's he says, "Choo Chooo". So adorable!!!
This is an ABC book that I made from the "Love U" line from Moda. It turned out really good and it is awesome because you can take the book apart and teach your child to spell words.
Lainey's quilt! This is the one quilt that I actually bought material for and made for Lainey, although she already has another quilt she loves.
I have recently bought some more material and I can not wait to work on a few projects. So many more babies in the near future, I need to start making some more blankets/quilts. One day when I decide to put Lainey in her crib, I will start quilting again.

Visit with Auntie

One- She does not like to sleep at night:( This is very hard but like everyone says, sleep when she sleeps.
Two- She weighs 7lbs 15oz, and is only three weeks old, that means she has gained about 1lbs a week since we left the hospital. This is such a relief, you just never know how much she eats when you are breast-feeding.
Three- I think she really is smiling at me sometimes, it's not just gas!

Here are lots of pics!
Just relaxing:)
I was trying to take her onesie off and it got stuck on her head, Melis and I could not stop laughing, she did not seem to mind.
Afternoon nap.
Big eyes looking up at aunt Melissa.
She loves looking around when we lay her on her back.

Melissa and Lainey taking a nap. There are a lot of naps in this house lately.

Somedays are very stressful!

We also made cousin Colin a little something, plus there are a few quilt post that I will update later.

Wouldn't it be nice.....

In the past two weeks one of the most amazing things is watching Trevor fall in love with our little girl. I knew he would love her but I just could not see how they would be together. Watching him fall in love with her has made me fall in love with him all over again.

We are so excited for some upcoming visitors. First we have Melissa who is coming on Sunday morning.......I just can't wait and Lainey is so excited to meet her Aunt, I just know they are going to hit it off. Then we have Grandma coming who is never going to want to leave. And last but not least Grandpa is going to meet up at the end of Grandma's stay. We are really looking forward to all our visitors and are very thankful that they took the time to come all this way for a visit.
Lainey and Dad hanging out, She just loves her hands close to her face!
We call this her fish face, she makes it all the time, especially before she yawns. She has made it since day one and it is one of our favorite expressions.
Big eyes looking up at dad!
Going for a walk, she really loves the wrap!
Nap time!
